This project, The Future of Esports, explores the transformative potential of esports within the contexts of technology, culture, and society. Conducted as part of OCAD University's Master’s of Design in Strategic Foresight & Innovation, the dossier examines how esports could evolve from 2022 to 2042. Using scenario planning and strategic foresight tools, this study highlights critical drivers, trends, and uncertainties shaping the future of competitive gaming, emphasizing intersections between digital and physical domains, shifts in fan engagement, and advancements in gaming technology. Four distinct scenarios envision diverse esports landscapes, offering stakeholders insights for navigating a rapidly changing ecosystem and embracing emerging opportunities
